About Me

I completed my graduate education in May of 2019. I have a Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.

I reentered school later in life after pursuing dual careers in both the private sector and in the military through the National Guard. Therefore I have more than 20 years experience in management and instruction.

As an License Marriage and Family Therapist, I look at all clients with a consideration of the larger family and relationship systems that my be influencing my clients and that changes in my client will, in turn influence.

I am pursuing certification through AASECT, the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists, to become a sex therapist. 

​

My focus is making relationships stronger to help individuals weather the storms of life.

​

My primary style of therapy is emotionally focused and I have attended training in both emotionally focused couples and individual therapy.
